Online workshop “Friendship in academic circles” will be conducted on March 26, at 18:00 for the personnel and students of East European University.
The goal of the online workshop is to expand the existing perspective on academic life for the meeting participants.
Themes and discussion issues of the informational meeting:
- The phenomenon of friendship in academic circles;
- Different ethical approaches to friendship;
- Famous examples of friendship between scientists.
Chair: Assoc. Prof. George Lazarashvili – Chairman of the Board of the Faculty of Healthcare Sciences (EEU). A member of the Royal Society for Public Health, United Kingdom FRSPH (UK). He is a researcher of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and the British Association of Healthcare Universities, Quality Assurance Expert of University of Greenwich, Researcher at the UCL- Institute of Education and a member of the Higher Education Council of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement. He is a Senior Lecturer at Arden University, London.
Speaker: Prof. Dr. Paul Gibbs – Emeritus Professor, University of Middlesex; Director of the Center for Doctoral Education Development, East European University. He is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Sydney (UTS) and the University of Cambridge (UK), scientist, teacher and researcher at ATLAS R&B Research Institute (TEXAS, USA) and the Higher Education Policy Center of New College, Oxford.
