Ekaterine Gigashvili (Associate Professor)
Ekaterine Gigashvili is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education Sciences at East European University. She holds a Doctoral degree in Educational Sciences. Since 2021, she has been serving as the Institutional Development Coordinator at the AAP Professional Skills Agency. Additionally, since 2022, she has acted as a consultant for the development of curricula and learning resources for the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Since 2006, she has also been an expert on authorization and accreditation processes at the National Center for the Development of Education Quality (LSI).
Ekaterine Gigashvili possesses extensive professional and pedagogical experience. Her previous roles include serving as a Diagnostic Self-Assessment Support Specialist for kindergartens at the National Center for the Development of Education Quality, a trainer for the UNIGEF inclusive and pre-school education support project, and the Chair of the Sectoral Council for Special Teacher Education at the same center. Furthermore, she has worked as a consultant for the recognition of non-formal education and as an education facilitator within the organization.
Ekaterine Gigashvili is actively engaged in international academic and professional communities, having participated in numerous conferences and projects, and has authored several publications.
