The seminar titled “The Psychotherapeutic Method of Bioenergetic Analysis” will take place on November 26th of this year at 4:00 PM (16:00). It is jointly organized by the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at East European University and the Psychological Counseling Center, “Idilia”.
Seminar Topics
- The history of the origin of Bioenergetic Analysis;
- The connection with psychoanalysis;
- Bioenergetic Analysis – as a body-centered psychotherapeutic method and its working principle.
Speaker: Guy Tonella, Ph.D. – Doctor of Clinical Psychology (University of Toulouse, France); International Trainer at the International Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis (IIBA).
Guy Tonella has taught psychology at the University of Toulouse for 20 years and has been involved in Master’s programs focusing on “Mediated Therapy” and “Body-Centered Psychotherapy.” With 40 years of practical experience in Bioenergetic Analysis, he is a full member and trainer with the French National Psychological Service (SNPPSY). He has experience working with psychoses in a psychiatric clinic. Additionally, he directs international Bioenergetic Analysis programs across various European countries, as well as in Brazil, Argentina, Canada, New Zealand, and China. He has authored and co-authored six books and around fifty articles.
Target Group: EEU Psychology Bachelor’s program students and staff; Practitioners interested in the field.
