Erasmus+ Short-term Mobility Program for Students of East European University at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi (Romania)

East European University (EEU) is announcing the Erasmus+ Short-Term Mobility Program Competition for EEU students for the 2026-2027 academic year at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi (Romania).

The mobility program is announced as an Erasmus + program funded by the European Commission based on the partnership agreement between EEU and Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi.

Students with active status in Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs are eligible to participate in the competition in the following fields of study:

  • Business Administration;
  • Law;
  • Psychology;
  • International Relations;
  • Education Sciences.

The mobility will take place either during the 2026–2027 academic year with a duration of one week. The student may undertake the mobility in either of the following formats:

  • as an attendee in a selection of English-taught courses or
  • as a participant in one of our Blended Intensive Programmes

Courses and dates to be communicated at a later date.

The total grant amount (consisting of a subsistence allowance for the actual mobility period and an additional two days of travel + a travel unit cost) will be communicated in the official Erasmus+ documents, such as the Invitation Letter and the Grant Agreement, as well as in subsequent messages addressed to the mobility beneficiary.

The candidate will be selected through an open competition.

The selection process will be carried out in 3 stages:

  • Documentation Review
  • Exam in English – 12.06.2026
  • Interview – 15.06.2026

Candidates will be exempt from the exam in English if they present one of the following documents:

  • Certificate of English language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, CAMBRIDGE) obtained in the last 2 years;
  • Certificate confirming at least one semester of study at a foreign university where English was the medium of instruction
Application Documents

Interested students must submit the following documents to EEU from June 5 to June 11 of the current year:

  • CV (European format in English);
  • Motivation letter;
  • Copy of passport (or ID in the absence of a passport);
  • Certificate of student status;
  • Extract current concerning reference to GPA;
  • Proof of English language proficiency (minimum B1 level) (if any);
  • Letter of recommendation.

Students, who would like to participate in the competition, must submit the following documents to the International Relations Department of EEU (Room 102) from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm., or at the following email address: international@eeu.edu.ge
