The Rector of East European University (EEU), Professor David Cherkezishvili, together with EEU students, participated in the closing ceremony of “Studfest 2026.”
More than 20,000 students from 42 higher education institutions took part in the festival.
The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Givi Mikanadze, awarded the winning students of the competitions held within the framework of “Studfest.” They were presented with commemorative medals, trophies, and monetary prizes.
EEU students achieved notable success in the youth festival and secured prize-winning positions.
The closing ceremony of the festival was attended by members of the Government of Georgia, rectors of higher education institutions and participants of “Studfest.”
The “Student Festival 2026” officially opened on May 1 in Rustavi and concluded in Tbilisi on June 14 with a volunteer running event.
