Professor Nona Gelitashvili holds a PhD in Economics and has extensive experience in academic, research, and university administration. Throughout her career, she has actively participated in international research projects, competitive grant programmes, and scientific conferences. She has been awarded DAAD research scholarships, participated in Erasmus+ academic mobility, and contributed to numerous international education and research initiatives.
Her research focuses on European integration, economic policy, migration, digitalisation, and sustainable development.
Professor Nona Gelitashvili is a member of several national and international scientific councils and editorial boards. She serves on the Advisory Scientific Board of the peer-reviewed journal Scientific Bulletin – Economic Sciences (Romania) and is a member of the International Scientific Programme Committee of the Croatian Association of the Club of Rome, the University of Zagreb, and the Inter-University Centre Dubrovnik.
Her academic career is characterised by active international collaboration, interdisciplinary research, and sustained engagement in the development of higher education. Through her scholarly work and institutional activities, she has contributed to advancing economic research and strengthening international academic cooperation.
