Applications are now open for the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships for the 2027-2028 academic year.
The programme is designed for international researchers and students and offers three main types of scholarships:
- Research Scholarship – intended for doctoral candidates and awarded for a maximum period of 12 months;
- PhD Scholarship – intended for doctoral candidates and providing funding for a maximum period of 36 months;
- Arts Scholarship – intended for students in the field of arts and awarded for a maximum period of 21 months.
The maximum age limit for candidates is 35 years.
Application deadlines vary depending on the candidate’s country of origin.
