On 27 October, East European University welcomed His Excellency Mr. Amit Kumar Mishra, Ambassador of the Republic of India to Georgia and Mr. Anil Yadav, Consular Attaché, on an official visit.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held with Professor Kakhaber Lazarashvili, Vice-Rector for the International and Scientific Affairs; Assistant Professor Elene Zurabishvili, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Healthcare Sciences; and Assistant Professor Teona Khachidze, Head of the International Relations Department.
During the visit, the guests toured the university campus, the Clinical Skills Center, and the Open Heart – University Hospital, where they had the opportunity to learn about the main areas of the university’s educational and clinical activities.
The final part of the visit included a meeting with Indian students studying at East European University. During the meeting, the Ambassador answered the students’ questions and discussed various topics with them.
The visit contributes to strengthening academic ties between East European University and the Republic of India and fostering opportunities for future cooperation.
