Dr. Tamar Varazi is a professor and researcher at the Durmishidze Institute of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Department of Biological Oxidation. She is actively involved in scientific research and pedagogical activities, having many years of pedagogical experience, has taught chemistry, toxicology and biochemistry in various institutions of higher education in Georgia. She holds a degree of Biochemist, Academic Doctor of Biology of the S. Durmishidze Institute of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of Georgian National Academy of Sciences.
Dr. Tamar Varazi is the author of numerous local and international scientific papers and grant projects, an active participant and speaker at different conferences and workshops. She has been involved in international scientific programs and projects at various times. Currently she is a participant of the Volkswagen-funded SAFS doctoral program. She has participated in various professional development programs.
