East European University (EEU) hosted HR Day 2025, an event aimed at strengthening cooperation between academia and the professional sector, while also expressing appreciation for the human resources profession and its role in contemporary organizations.
The event brought together representatives of academia and industry, fostering dialogue, knowledge sharing, and collaboration, and creating new opportunities for cooperation between the university and the labour market.
The reception was attended by members of the Programme Advisory Board, executives from leading companies across various industries, heads of human resource departments, experts working in the field of artificial intelligence, and representatives of East European University.

During the event, employers engaged in discussions with university representatives and students, sharing insights about labour market expectations, recruitment practices, and career opportunities. The meeting created an environment for direct communication between employers and students, supporting students’ career development and strengthening their employment prospects.
Special attention was given to the impact of artificial intelligence and digital transformation on human resource management and the labour market. Experts discussed how AI technologies are transforming recruitment processes, talent management, and workplace practices, highlighting the importance of developing future-oriented skills and adapting academic programmes to the changing demands of the modern economy.
Participants also expressed their willingness to support the further development of the Human Resource Management Master’s Programme, ensuring its alignment with current labour market needs and the evolving realities of the artificial intelligence era.
At the end of the event, the Rector of East European University and the Head of the Human Resource Management Master’s Programme ceremonially cut the celebratory cake.
The informal part of the evening continued with friendly and professional dialogue, allowing participants to exchange ideas, establish new professional connections, and explore future cooperation initiatives between employers and the university.
Through initiatives such as HR Day, East European University continues to actively promote collaboration with employers, support student employability, and create opportunities for students to connect directly with industry representatives and potential employers.
