Maka Khodeli (Associate Professor)

Maka Khodeli has many years of professional and pedagogical experience. She is a member of the editorial board of the “German-Georgian Criminal Journal” (DGStZ), a member of the German-Georgian Electronic Dictionary Working Group (German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ)). In different years she was a researcher at the Faculty of Law of Humboldt University in Berlin, Deputy Head of the Department of Education at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Assistant in the Criminal Justice Department at the Max Planck Research Institute in Freiburg, Germany.
Maka Khodeli is actively engaged in scientific-research activities. In 2021 she obtained a research fellowship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and was a research fellow at Humboldt University in Berlin. She is a participant and scientific supervisor of numerous international and local workshops, she is also the author of international and local scientific papers and monographs on current issues of criminal law “Surveillance of telephone conversations in criminal proceedings” (according to Georgian and German law).
