Events held within the framework of the project “Interactive web portal of business problems” financed by the Visegrad International Fund

On June 8 of current year, in the conference hall of East European University, the seminar “Commercialization and knowledge transfer at the university” was held within the framework of the project “Interactive web portal of business problems” financed by the Visegrad International Fund.

The event was opened by Shalva Machavariani, the vice-rector for Scientific Affairs of East European University.

Attendees were welcomed by: Tea Imadedze, Vice-Rector for International and Administrative Affairs of East European University, Vasil Kikutadze, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Engineering of East  European University and Eva Kostikov, Visegrad Project Coordinator, Head of the University of Finance and Administration (Prague, Czech Republic).

The following speakers delivered presentations at the seminar:

• Ewa Nocun (Technology Transfer Center, University of Lodz);
• Rudolf Leska (partner – ŠTAIDL LEŠKA ADVOKÁTI)

Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in Georgia, academic and administrative staff of East European University attended the seminar.

After the seminar, welcome party was held for the Georgian and foreign participants of the seminar.

Within the framework of the same project On June 9, 2023 in the small conference hall of East European University, the meeting with EEU representatives was held.

Project partners were acquainted with the information about ongoing and planned events and projects of the EEU and set further cooperation plan.
