Dr. Larisa Melia is the Head of Gynecological Department of Academian O. Ghudushauri National Medical Center. She has been actively involved in professional and pedagogical activities for many years. In different years she was an Obstetrician-gynecologist of the Perinatal Center of the Academian O. Ghudushauri National Medical Center and obstetrician-gynecologist of the multi-profile clinic “Abkhazia” and worked in various higher education institutions of Georgia. She holds an academic degree of Doctor of Medicine.

Dr. Larisa Melia is engaged in scientific research activities. She is the author of numerous local and international scientific articles and participant of international and local conferences, workshops and seminars. She successfully completed various professional development programs.
