At the invitation of the Varlam Cherkezishvili Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, Dr. Iuliana Gavril, Senior Lecturer in Architecture at Norwich University (UK), will visit East European University.
On April 4th, at 4:00 p.m., a lecture titled “The Oneiric Houses: Imaginary Constructions of Houses as Signals of a Crisis of Imagination” will be held. This event is organized jointly by the Interdisciplinary Center and the Faculty of Business and Engineering of EEU.
The talk will draw evidence from a long term ethnographic study on imaginary constructions of houses as a daydreaming activity to highlight the tensions between imagination as a critical tool for designers and the ingrained types of dwelling.
