On December 18, 2023, an information session titled “Encouraging Student Initiatives and Research Activities at EEU” was held at East European University (EEU).
The aim of the event was to inform students about the services supporting their initiatives and to increase their engagement in research activities.
The session was led by Ketevan Aptarashvili, Head of the Education Department at EEU, and Davit Sikharulidze, Head of the Scientific Research and Development Department.
During the meeting, EEU students were introduced to:
- Internal university funding opportunities and mechanisms for supporting student initiatives
- Procedures for obtaining university scholarships and research grants
- Principles of writing research and cultural-sport project proposals
The session concluded with a discussion, during which the speakers provided detailed answers to participants’ questions.
