At the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of East European University (EEU), a joint university conference of students and alumni was held on February 24.
The aim of the conference was to provide undergraduate and graduate students, as well as alumni of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at EEU, with the opportunity to present their academic papers, discuss contemporary social, legal, and governance-related challenges, and engage in interdisciplinary academic discussions. The conference contributed to the development of critical thinking, research, and presentation skills.
The event was opened and participants were welcomed by the Rector of Eastern European University, Professor Kakhaber Lazarashvili; the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Professor Zukhra Matsaberidze; and the Head of the Bachelor’s Program in Psychology, Associate Professor Zurab Mkheidze.
The conference brought together EEU students and alumni, who delivered presentations on various topical issues.

The event was attended by field experts, EEU students, and academic staff. The conference was conducted in a discussion-based format, allowing participants to exchange their views, ideas, findings, and practical experiences.
