Ketevan Kokrashvili (Professor)

Ketevan Kokrashvili is a Professor and Doctor of Law with extensive professional experience in law, public administration, public policy, higher education, and science policy.
Since 2023, she has served as the Head of the Science Department at the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.
Throughout her career, she has held a number of senior public positions, including Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Georgia, Parliamentary Secretary, Chief Adviser to the State Minister on Reform Coordination, and Chancellor of the Georgian Technical University.
Professor Kokrashvili is the author and co-author of more than 40 scientific publications, including peer-reviewed journal articles, monographs, and academic textbooks. Her research has been published in both national and international refereed scientific journals and focuses on law, public administration, higher education, and science policy.
She is actively engaged in academic activities and currently serves as an Affiliated Professor at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of East European University.
Professor Kokrashvili actively contributes to international scientific cooperation and the development of European research policy. Since 2026, she has been a member of the European Research Area (ERA) Committee, representing Georgia within the European Commission’s governance structure for the European Research Area. Since 2023, she has also served as a member of the Governing Board of the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) and as a member of the General Assembly of the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership.
