Dr. Nato Alavidze is  the head of the English Medium Program in Medicine at the East European University . She is an Expert of Authorization and Accreditation of higher education institutions and programs of the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement. She is a  member of the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE), member of the Board of the Association of Georgian Pharmacists and Head of Imereti Regional Department, member of  the Georgian Respiratory Association and the founder of the NGO “Doctor and Society”. She has many years of teaching experience obtained through working in various higher institutions of Georgia. She holds academic degrees of Master of Pharmacy (Provisor) and a Doctor of Pharmacy, as well as a state certificate in the “Pharmaceutical business and organization”.

Dr. Nato Alavidze is actively involved in scientific research, she is the author of numerous scientific articles, organizer, participant and speaker at international and local conferences, workshops, seminars and symposiums. She is a participant / researcher in local and international grant projects, as well as participant in various professional development programs.
