Ketevan Chachkhian (Associate Professor)
Ketevan Chachkhiani is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education Sciences at East European University. She holds a PhD degree in Educational Policy and Evaluation. Since 2023, she has been affiliated with the Marie Lou Fulton School of Education at Arizona State University, where she also directs the Arizona State University sub-grant program under the USAID Education for the Future initiative.
Ketevan Chachkhiani boasts extensive professional experience. Her previous roles include serving as a researcher at Arizona State University, a guest lecturer for the master’s program in education, and the Program Director for Chemonics International’s USAID Georgia Primary Education Project (G-PriEd). Additionally, she has held positions as the Deputy Director of the British-Georgian Academy, Head of the Public Relations and International Department at the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, and International Education Program Officer at the Research and Exchange Council.
Moreover, Ketevan Chachkhiani has worked as a local and international consultant, focusing on the long-term strategic development of education systems and the creation of professional education programs based on teacher training schools in Georgia and various post-Soviet countries.
Ketevan Chachkhiani is actively involved in the international academic community, participating in numerous conferences and contributing to the field through publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
