EEU Students Self-Government Election Results!

Today, 12 December, student self-government elections were held at East European University.

A total of 17% of eligible students participated in the elections. The student group “Student Vision” received 72.3% of the votes, while “Progress” obtained 27.7%.

As a result of the elections, the student group “Student Vision” was declared the winner. Sopio Baiduri was elected President of the Student Self-Government, and Anamaria Devadze was elected Vice President.

The elections were conducted smoothly, without any irregularities, and in a calm and orderly environment.

Election results can be appealed within 24 hours of the publication of the results. The candidate student group, observer, election commission member or voter (EEU student with active student’s status) has the right to appeal the results. Complaints addressed to the Election Commission may be submitted to the University’s Chancellery or sent to the University’s official email address: info@eeu.edu.ge
