Lela Goginava (Assistant Professor)
Lela Goginava is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education Sciences. She holds a Master’s degree in Peace and Development from Jaume I University of Castellon (Spain) and has completed postgraduate studies in sociology.
With extensive professional experience, Goginava has held various positions in the Department of International Organizations and the Department of International Law at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
She is an active participant in several COST projects. She is a full member of the “Women on the Move” (WEMove) project (CA19112) from Georgia, where she serves as co-leader and researcher of the third working group. Starting January 2024, she also became a full member of the “History of Identity Documents of European Nations: Citizenship, Nationality and Migration” (HIDDEN) project (CA21120) from Georgia. In this project, she contributes as a member and researcher in the third and fifth working groups. Additionally, since February 2024, she has been a full member of the “Dynamics of Transnational Families in Europe” (TraFaDy) project (CA21143), where she serves on the COST Management Committee from Georgia, participates in the second working group, and contributes as a researcher.
Lela Goginava has authored and co-authored several publications and has actively participated as a speaker and panelist in scientific conferences, panel discussions, and workshops.
