On December 2, at 17:00, the office of Public Defender of Consumers’ Interests and East European University will host an information meeting for EEU staff and students: “Know your rights in the field of communications”.
The office of Public Defender of Consumers’ Interests (https://bit.ly/3nNbedf) is created on the basis of the Law of Georgia on National Regulatory Bodies and being independent of the staff of the National Communications Commission in the field of communications it appears to be an additional guarantee of protection of consumer interests.
The Goal of the meeting is to raise consumer awareness in the field of telecommunications.
Topics and Discussion Issues:
- Activities of the office of Public Defender of Consumers’ Interests;
- Consumer rights granted by law;
- Liabilities of companies, rules and deadlines for reviewing complaints / applications.
