The Scientific Research Center of State and Law of East European University (EEU) is a research unit within the university’s organizational structure
The main objectives of the Center’s activities are:
- Researching public administration, theories and practices of state governance, as well as the analysis of best international practices;
- Studying problematic issues in law and governance, analyzing experiences related to the protection of human rights and the development of democratic governance;
- Researching current issues related to legal relations between the state and citizens, as well as the legal regulation of civil relations;
- Studying best practices for the development of an innovative educational and scientific environment and integrating them into educational systems;
- Generalizing research findings and developing recommendations aimed at improving Georgian legislation and various regulatory frameworks.
To achieve the set objectives, the Center performs the following functions:
- Ensuring the active involvement of doctoral students and practicing researchers in the research process;
- Providing access to research findings for students of various universities;
- Integrating research outcomes into academic disciplines and facilitating their practical implementation.
The Center is authorized to:
- Cooperate with state/local self-government bodies, non-governmental organizations, and local and international academic or research institutions;
- Participate in national and international scientific grant projects;
- Organize international and national conferences, seminars, and forums periodically to present research findings;
- Publish scientific journals and educational literature.
