On April 21, 2018 Scientific Department of East European University Organized University Students’ Scientific Conference under the title:
Actual Issues of European Integration!
The main aim of the conference was stipulating actively engagement of students in scientific activities, supporting generating innovative ideas and preparing highly qualified specialists.
East European University rector, Dr. David Cherkezishvili addressed the conference participants and wished them future success. Vice-rector in science affairs Prof. Shalva Machavariani, opened the conference.
East European University Quality Assurance Office, heads of the relevant faculties, academic staff and invited guests were participating in the conference. Conference papers were presented by BA, MA and PH.D students pursuing the faculties of Law, Education, Business Administration and International Relations.
Conference covered the following sections:
- Law;
- Education and International Relations;
- Business and Economics.

Moderator – Gela Grigolashvili, Associate Professor.
At the end of the conference interesting discussion was held, moderators evaluated conference sections’ working and all of the students were awarded the certificates.
Best conference papers were selected at the conference in accordance with the sections:
- Law –Tamar Mskhvilidze (Ph.D student);
- Education and International Relations – Ekaterine Beniashvili (Master student);
- Business and Economics –Tinatin Mamestsarashvili (Ph.D student);
Authors of the best scientific papers were awarded the presents (Collection of 2018 works of Bakur Sulakauri Publishing House). Authors of the best papers will have opportunity to participate in the conference organized by the Administration of President that will take place on 26th of May, 2018 in Bakuriani.
