East European University and NGO ‘’Primus Inter Pares’’ Association organized the project ’’Moot Court Competitions of Schools!’’
Project aim was to provoke schools as well as university students’ interest in the field of law, deepening theoretical knowledge of young people, developing practical skills, and awareness raising on the moot and its basic essence.
The project covered 2 stages:
- I stage – Training;
- II stage – Moot trial;
12 schools have participated in the project ’’Moot Court Competitions of Schools!’’
Public schools: №156, №122, №161, №115 were confronted with each other. As a result of the 10-hour court trial in the Court of Appeals, The teams of Tbilisi public school № 161 and №156 won the project.
East European University congratulates winner teams and wishes them further success!
Similar projects will be organized in future as well as it acquires social content and boosts to not only awareness raising in the relevant field but also crime prevention in juveniles.
