On May 5, 2017, a Memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Swiss Tourism and Hotel Management Institute (HTMi) and East European University (EEU). The representative of the Embassy of Georgia Senior Advisor Mr. Ilia Maranidze attended the signing ceremony.
The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by Jan Larmour, Managing Director of Swiss Institute of Tourism, Tourism and Hotel Management (HTMi) and Rector of East European University Davit Cherkezishvili.
The memorandum includes programs for Georgian students at HTMi and possibility of internships in Swiss Confederation, regular visits of teachers and students, creation of joint training programs in tourism and hotel management at the East European University.
Together with East European University, Memorandum was signed between Tourism and Hotel Management Institute (HTMi) and Budapest International Business School (IBS).
Embassies of seven countries together with Georgian delegation attended the signing ceremony as well as representatives of HTMi partner companies and academic institutions. A ceremonial dinner was held after signing of the memorandums.
