David Shalamberidze is the Head of the Neurosurgery Department at Open Heart University Hospital. He has many years of experience working as a Senior Physician at the Neurosurgical Clinic of Hochsauerland (Germany).

He successfully performs complex brain and spinal surgeries and is proficient in modern microsurgical techniques.

David also has extensive teaching experience from the Faculty of Medicine at a German university. Since 2024, he has been serving as a Professor at the Faculty of Healthcare Sciences of East European University.

For many years, David Shalamberidze has also been actively engaged in scientific research. His research interests include modern approaches in neurosurgery and spinal surgery. He is the author and co-author of local and international scientific publications and regularly participates in international medical conferences and workshops, where he presents his clinical and research findings. His work is dedicated both to sharing practical surgical expertise and to introducing innovative medical technologies.
