Considering the socio-economic circumstances of socially and economically vulnerable students, East European University (EEU) implements a range of support measures:
-
Flexible tuition payment system:
Information regarding tuition fee payment schemes and mechanisms at the university is transparent and flexible. Students receive guidance and consultation from a designated staff member responsible for financial services. In addition, through the EEU-EL electronic system, students can automatically access and monitor information about their installment-based payment schedules. -
Individual incentive measures:
The Rector of the University may introduce various individual incentive measures (such as grants, scholarships, awards, etc.) either on his/her own initiative or based on recommendations from faculties or the Student Self-Government. -
University scholarship:
Students may receive a university scholarship in the amount of 600 GEL. -
Educational grants:
Special tuition grants are awarded to gold and silver medal graduates of secondary schools. -
Student project funding scheme:
The University has developed the “Student Project Funding Policy,” which serves as an important mechanism for supporting student initiatives. The policy aims to encourage scientific research, create appropriate conditions and motivation for academic activities, promote participation in research, cultural, and sports initiatives, and support the purposeful use of students’ intellectual potential.Within this framework, the University supports and funds student projects and initiatives. The maximum funding requested from the University for one student research project must not exceed 5,000 GEL, while the maximum funding for a cultural or sports project must not exceed 3,000 GEL.
