Medical Services and Psychological Support

East European University provides primary medical assistance and health-related consultations for its students and staff. To receive a consultation, you may visit the EEU doctor at the following location:

East European University, Block C, Floor 1, Doctor’s Office No. 11.

The doctor’s office serves students, academic staff, and administrative personnel, providing first aid, initial health assessments, consultations regarding minor health issues, and recommendations for further medical care when necessary. The purpose of this service is to ensure a safe, health-oriented, and supportive environment for the university community.

In addition, EEU students can benefit from free medical insurance services at “Medison” clinics.

At East European University, the student psychological support system includes free psychological counselling, wellbeing-focused student clubs, and various educational initiatives (podcasts, video tutorials, and workshops) aimed at supporting students’ physical, mental, and social wellbeing.

1. EEU offers free psychological counselling services for students.

 

The psychological support service provides consultations on various topics, including:

• Managing academic stress and anxiety

• Adapting to the university environment

• Improving personal and social relationships

• Strengthening motivation and self-efficacy

• Coping with difficult life situations

All consultations are conducted confidentially and are designed to create a safe and supportive environment for students. When necessary, students may also receive recommendations for additional psychological or professional support.

Psychological services are provided by specialists from the EEU Psychology and Neuroscience Research Center – “Laboratory Z.”

2. Scientific Research Center for Physical, Mental and Social Wellbeing

East European University has established the Scientific Research Center for Physical, Mental and Social Wellbeing. The center organizes a variety of activities such as workshops, dialogue sessions, and public lectures, aimed at promoting the wellbeing of both students and university staff.

3. Wellbeing Student Club

EEU has established the Wellbeing Student Club, which aims to promote physical, mental, and social wellbeing at East European University through active student engagement.

The club promotes student wellbeing initiatives and pedagogical innovations, while also raising awareness about the importance of physical and mental health.

4. New Series of Podcasts and Video Tutorials on Physical and Mental Wellbeing

Since 2025, East European University has launched a series of educational podcasts and video tutorials aimed at informing students and the wider university community about important contemporary topics and supporting their wellbeing.

One of the key directions of the project is the Physical and Mental Wellbeing Series, which features invited professionals including medical doctors, psychologists, and other specialists.

Together with students, they discuss important topics such as:

• Balancing personal life and academic/professional responsibilities

• The importance of physical health and healthy lifestyle habits

• Mental health and emotional wellbeing

• Managing stress and anxiety, especially during exam periods

• Maintaining concentration and motivation in the learning process

• Time management and productivity

• Preventing burnout and overload

• Achieving a healthy balance between studying and rest

This initiative aims to increase access to reliable and practical information for students, support their psychological and physical wellbeing, and promote a healthy, supportive, and development-oriented university environment.
