Ekaterine Beniashvili (Assistant Professor)

Ekaterine Beniashvili is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education Sciences of East European University, Deputy Head of the Department of Education, Mentor at the Academic Skills Development Center, and Coordinator of Healthcare Educational Programs. She is also a Board Member of the non-governmental organization “Society Biliki” operating in Shida Kartli region, Georgia
Ekaterine Beniashvili holds a Master’s degree in Education Sciences from East European University. During her master’s studies, she was awarded an Erasmus+ Credit Mobility scholarship grant and, within the framework of the exchange program, studied at the University College of Teacher Education Upper Austria.
Prior to being elected as an Assistant Professor, she worked as an invited lecturer at both the Faculty of Education Sciences and the Faculty of Healthcare Sciences. She has many years of experience working with children and young people in various local and international organizations, as well as in planning and administering educational projects.
Her professional interests include modern approaches to education, intercultural learning, academic skills development, youth work, and child protection issues. Over the years, she has participated in various international educational programs and training courses both in Georgia and abroad.
Within the scope of her professional activities, she has actively worked on issues related to children’s rights, child protection, and violence prevention, and has been involved in research and educational projects in these fields.
