Dr. Jilda Cheishvili has many years of pedagogical and professional experience. In the past years she was the Head of Quality Assurance Department at LTD BAU International University, Batumi, Medical Training Coordinator at LTD Kutaisi Training Center, Chief Director in LTD “Tskaltubo Regional Clinical Center”, Nursing Program Trainer at the organization “Partners for International Development”, family doctor of the Social Service Agency of Georgia, doctor neonatologist LTD “Tskaltubo Maternity House” and LTC “Bomondi”, junior doctor neonatologist of the Maternal and Child Regional Diagnostic Center. She holds a Master’s Degree in General Pediatrics and a Doctor of Public Healthcare, as well as an education at the University of Chester (England), holds state certificates in the specialty of General Practitioner and a Neonatologist. Currently se is the Dean of the Tbilisi Open University School of Medicine.

Dr. Cheishvili is actively involved in scientific research activities. She is the author of numerous local and international publications and several monographs, participant and speaker at international and local conferences, workshops and seminars. Currently she is the Project Manager for the Erasmus + Program (2018-2020, University of Chester, UK). She has taken different international and local professional development courses.
