On 7 March 2014 EEU signed a memorandum with the Legal Aid Service Georgia.
The memorandum was signed by the Head of the Legal Aid Service Georgia, Meliton Benize and the Rector of the East European University, David Cherkezishvili.
In the Scope of the Memorandum, the students of EEU will be involved in the real negotiations between law firm and the clients. They will also gain experience in drafting various legal documents. Moreover, they will have a chance to be in touch with intensive cooperation between Law Firm and City Courts, Office of the Public Prosecutor and Ministry of Corrections and etc. On the final stage of the program, there will be conducted mock trial, which will be an additional opportunity for the students to present their legal skills and knowledge.
