Mission and Purpose
The Youth Public Servants’ Forum “ASMA” brings together students from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of Eastern European University, as well as students from other higher education institutions, who are interested in current issues in public administration and international relations.
The aim of the club is to create an intellectual and interactive space where students can:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of international relations, global politics, and contemporary challenges;
- Enhance analytical and critical thinking skills;
- Actively engage in debates, discussions, and simulation-based activities (e.g., model processes);
- Strengthen research skills and prepare various academic works (articles, reports, etc.).
Club Activities
- Informational and thematic meetings (e.g., “Activities and Planned Events of the Youth Public Servants’ Forum ASMA,” “Competencies of a Future Public Servant,” etc.);
- Student scientific conferences (e.g., “International Security and Democracy,” “Genocide, the Holocaust, and Armed Conflicts,” “Contemporary Migration Processes and Trafficking,” etc.);
- Public lectures with invited speakers (e.g., Giga Abuseridze – “Georgia’s Economic Evolution in the Context of Globalization”; Andro Gotsiridze – “Cyberspace as a New Dimension of Interstate Relations,” etc.).
