On July 5, the East European University held the presentation of the Georgian translation of the work of the famous American jurist, professor of law and philosophy at the University of Minnesota, Brian Bix – “Jurisprudence: Theory and Context” (8th edition).
The translation of the work was funded by the book translation program of the US Embassy in Georgia and the East European University. The translation of the book was done by Lasha Lursmanashvili, a researcher at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies. The editor of the translation is Prof. Giorgi Tavadze, the head of the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies.
Within the framework of the presentation, the acting rector of the East European University, Prof. Kakhaber Lazarashvili, the vice-rector for scientific affairs, Prof. Shalva Machavariani, the head of the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, Prof. Giorgi Tavadze, and the center researcher Lasha Lursmanashvili were present.
On July 7, a book presentation was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.
