EEU ANNOUNCEMENT OF STUDENT GRANT COMPETITION FOR for 2020-2021!

• A student project can be submitted by a student or group of students from all three study levels (BA, MA and doctorate) with an active status at the East European University. The group may also include a graduate of the East European University;
• The duration of the project can be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 months;
• The amount requested from the fund in the case of a research project should not exceed GEL 5000 and in the case of a cultural / sports project should not exceed GEL 3000;
• Student scholarship should not exceed 1500 GEL;
• It is not allowed to submit more than one application to the grant competition by the same person.
• The person authorized to submit a research project should have a supervisor – (free of charge involved in the project) doctor or equivalent, academic or visiting staff of the East European University.

Projects submitted in accordance with the terms of the grant competition will be evaluated by the commission (for detailed information on the evaluation criteria: see the evaluation criteria of scientific-research projects; see the evaluation criteria of cultural / sports projects)

• Project applications for participation in the competition should be registered from November 16 till December 19 by sending the requested documents to the e-mail: sciencepapers@eeu.edu.ge
• In case of a scientific project, in order to participate in the competition, the eligible entities must submit the grant project application within the scheduled timeframe together with the following documents (signed and scanned):

1. Project application (Annex 1, see the template)
2. Project proposal (Annex 2, see the template)
3. Detailed Budget and Budget justification (Annex 3, see the template)
4. Project execution plan (Annex, see the template)
5. For the research project, a letter of consent of a foreign consultant (if any) on participation in the project and the ID card;
6. ID card;
7. Student status approval notices issued by the East European University for the students involved in the project;
8. Student’s autobiography (CV);
9. Letter of Co-funding Commitment (if any, see the template under Annex 5).

• In case of a cultural / sports project, in order to participate in the grant competition, the eligible entities must submit the grant project application within the scheduled timeframe together with the signed and scanned documents:

1. Project application (Annex 1, see the template)
2. Project proposal (Annex 2, see the template)
3. Detailed Budget and Budget justification (Annex 3, see the template)
4. Project execution plan (Annex, see the template)
5. For the research project, a letter of consent of a foreign consultant (if any) on participation in the project and the ID card;
6. ID card;
7. Student status approval notices issued by the East European University for the students involved in the project;
8. Student’s autobiography (CV);
9. Letter of Co-funding Commitment (if any, see the template under Annex 5).
