The aim of the educational tournament is to promote education, motivate young people and develop their skills.
The intellectual tournament was held for the second time by the EEU.
In addition to students from East European University, students and students from various universities participated in the tournament.
Rector of East European University, Davit Cherkezishvili, invited guests to play intellectual game “What? Where? when? EEU invited Director of the National Library and author of “Guruli Diaries” and lecturer Giorgi Kekelidze who addressed the participants and encouraged them and wished them success.
The winner team has been awarded with a symbolic engraved figure, certificates, various vouchers and nominations.
Members of the II and III positions were awarded with vouchers and symbolic gifts. Special prizes were awarded to pupils and students of different schools. All participants of the tournament were awarded certificates on behalf of the East European University.
“EEU Intellectual Tournament 2017″ was held in two stages. The first and second tour consisted of 40 questions. There were 15 teams and more than 50 youngsters participated in the tournament, each team was composed of 5 members.
The results of the tournament are as follows:
I place – East European University team ” Kalimantan ” – 31 points;
II place – Georgian University team ”Inquictus ” – 30 points;
III place – University of Caucasus Business School University “CSB” – 27 points.
IV and V places Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University and Eastern European University teams.
Members of the winning team, along with EEU students, were students of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University.
