On October 23 of the current year, within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) week, CSR Club and UN Global Compact Network Georgia organized an event at the Hotel Courtyard Marriott, where 15 active organizations of Georgia, including East European University (EEU), as an active member of UN Global Compact Network Georgia signed the following Principles of Persons with Disabilities Empowerment:
- Affirm high-level support for non-discriminatory approach towards persons with disabilities and implement the relevant practices
- Workplace accessibility for the persons with disabilities
- Promote training and professional development of the persons with disabilities
- Create decent and safe workplace for the persons with disabilities
- Consider the needs of persons with disabilities while developing company products and services
- Empower persons with disabilities in the marketplace though supportive entrepreneurship and integrating in the supply chain
- Support the education of persons with disabilities
- Promote visibility of the persons with disabilities into the society.
