The Sports and Cultural Society (SCS) Student Club of East European University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Healthcare Sciences, organised a series of sporting events for students of the Medical Doctor (MD) Programme.
The tournament featured a variety of sports, including chess, men’s and women’s cricket, football, handball, throwball, men’s and women’s table tennis, and dodgeball. The series of sporting events took place from January to June 2026 and brought together more than 200 students, who participated in both individual and team competitions.
The sporting tournament was also joined by East European University Rector, Dr. David Cherkezishvili, who took part in the event by facing the finalists of the table tennis tournament in a series of friendly exhibition matches.
The students and teams who secured first, second and third places across the various sporting disciplines will be formally presented with medals and trophies during the EEU Cultural Festival – Charisma 2026.
The sporting events once again highlighted students’ active engagement, promoted a healthy lifestyle, and strengthened the spirit of teamwork within the university community.
