As part of the ERASMUS+ academic staff exchange program, Professor Bogdan Iftimie from the Department of Applied Mathematics at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies visited East European University (EEU).
A joint initiative between the Faculty of Business and Engineering at EEU and the Bucharest University of Economic Studies led to the organization of a workshop titled “Instruments for Managing Credit and Counterparty Risks,” held on May 14, 2025.
The event was opened by Tamta Lekishvili, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business and Engineering, who thanked the speaker and the audience for their participation. Professors Avtandil Gagnidze and Mikheil Tokmazishvili also welcomed the attendees.
During the workshop, Professor Bogdan Iftimie presented on the following topics:
- Credit assessment models;
- Information technologies and analytical tools;
- The role of central counterparties and risk assessment.
The meeting concluded with a summary discussion.
All participants received a certificate.
