On May 14, 2025, within the framework of the ERASMUS+ academic staff exchange program, Professor Bogdan Iftimi from the Department of Applied Mathematics at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies visited East European University (EEU).
Professor Bogdan Iftimie conducted a seminar for students of the Faculty of Business and Engineering titled: “Challenges and Perspectives of Globalization: Strengthening Internationalization through Academic Mobility and Strategic Vision.”
The purpose of the seminar was to inform students about issues related to internationalization and mobility.
During the presentation, Professor Bogdan Iftimie discussed:
- Aspects of internationalization;
- Professional development in research and academic activities;
- Recommendations for students and young researchers.
The seminar concluded with a discussion. All participants of the meeting were awarded certificates
During the visit, Professor Iftimie met with Tamta Lekishvili, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business and Engineering and Teona Khachidze, Head of the International Relations Department at EEU.
