From May 5 to 9, 2025, representatives of the academic and administrative staff of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the East European University (EEU) visited Tuscia University in Italy, where students of the EEU’s Master’s Program in Law are currently studying through the ERASMUS+ exchange program.
The EEU delegation participating in the International Week within the Erasmus+ program included EEU Associate Professors Zurab Aznaurashvili, Sopho Chkopoia, and Davit Tsulaia.
During the week, representatives of Tuscia University presented their undergraduate and master’s programs to the participants and offered opportunities for future cooperation. Together with EEU representatives, they discussed possibilities for deepening academic collaboration and implementing joint projects. The week also included a conference titled “Women Lead Their Professions: Women, Respect, Equality”, where participants shared their experiences and perspectives.
As part of the visit, professors and experts from Tuscia University hosted EEU staff at the Criminology Laboratory, where they presented new developments used in the teaching process. In addition, members of the EEU delegation met with EEU Master’s students in Law who are currently studying at Tuscia University within the Erasmus+ mobility program. They were personally introduced to the academic and social integration processes of the students at Tuscia University and observed how the educational process is conducted there.
