Smart Lab will be set up at the East European University. The Memorandum of understanding was signed between the LEPL Scientific-Research Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and East European University on it.
Memorandum envisages setting up the accelerator, so-called “Smart Laboratory”, accelerator for the development of scientific-research activities on agribusiness systematic management issues and efficient preparation of dissertation papers in agro-business field.
The Memorandum will focus on implementing joint projects, facilitating professional development of students and the successful activities of the Center.
David Cherkezishvili, East European University rector and Levan Ujmajuridze, Director of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, noted that there is lack of young staff in agriculture that’s why cooperation with the state entities of the education will be fruitful for both parties as well as for the country.
