On January 13, at 13:00, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Georgia, Mr. Andrius Kalindra will visit the East European University. He will deliver a public lecture on the topic: “Security implications; rules based on international order; The Role of Society and Institutions’’ for EEU students and staff.
The following issues will also be discussed within the framework of the meeting: the path of the European integration of the Republic of Lithuania and bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Lithuania.
At the end of the lecture, a discussion will be held, and the attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.
For years, Mr. Kalindra held the position of Head of the International and the EU Affairs Group, Office of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania. He was also minister counselor of the Lithuanian group to the UN Security Council and the permanent representative of the Republic of Lithuania to the UN in New York. From October 2020, Mr.Kalindra holds the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Georgia.
