Conference of Education Graduates and Students – Professional Development Day 2026

On January 24, 2026, within the framework of International Education Day, the Faculty of Education Sciences of East European University (EEU) hosted the third annual joint conference of education graduates, students, and employers – Professional Development Day 2026.

The aim of the conference was to promote the exchange of practical and research experience among graduates, employers, and students; to encourage joint engagement in scientific activities; to identify key challenges in the field of education; to explore innovative solutions; and to support professional development. The conference was also dedicated to International Education Day.

The event was opened by the Rector of East European University, Professor Kakhaber Lazarashvili. Welcoming remarks were delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences, Associate Professor Ketevan Aptarashvili.

Employers’ Forum

As part of the event, an Employers’ Forum was held with the participation of EEU partner educational institutions:

  • Tbilisi Public School №186 – Tinatin Chkhikvadze (School Director)
  • Tbilisi Public School №11 – Nino Jabanishvili (School Director)
  • “Qorali” School – Ana Kintsurashvili (Program manager, Teacher)

Students and graduates of the Faculty of Education Sciences at EEU, as well as students from the Faculty of Business and Engineering, participated in the conference and presented papers on various educational topics.

The conference was attended by education experts, EEU students, staff, and invited guests. It was conducted in a panel discussion format, enabling participants to exchange ideas, research findings, and practical experiences.

All participants and speakers received certificates, and partner organizations were presented with symbolic gifts.

The conference was organized by East European University.
